The Spirit of Halloween Is Dead

And no, not in a good way.

This year's Halloween feels different to me. Kind of like someone decided to call off the entire thing. Yeah, I can hear trick or treaters outside and tumblr brought back the boops, this time in a spooky edition... but for some reason it doesn't seem like Halloween to me.

I didn't prepare any costume. Partly because of laziness, procrastination, and my general forgetfulness. But also cause I had absolutely ZERO ideas for it. It's a slow day for me today and I didn't have to leave the house so I'm sitting in my pyjamas. Looks like I'm dressed as an asshole this year.

I feel like there's more to it though. Usually I would at least attempt to do inktober or something similar. This october I just... didn't. I didn't feel like it so I decided to not force myself. I still created art, it just wasn't for any sort of a challenge. Oh well, maybe next year.

What I did though was decorate a bit. This is the bare minimum but hey, it still counts. Here's a shitty picture of my window:

Sorry this post is extremely short. It's the first one I made with no prior drafts for it. I have more stuff planned for november though so stay tuned for that!
