Americium is named for America where it was first made. I couldn't come up with a symbol for it, mainly cause the only thing I could think of was a star and I already gave that to neutronium.

However, I found a symbol for Transpluto, which is a fictitious planet beyond Pluto, and assigned it to the next element after plutonium.
